Synopsis:
Enterprise investigates a massive comet, with a Vulcan ship looking over their shoulder. Trip discovers a secret communication between T'Pol and the Vulcans, and finds himself in an uncomfortable dilemma.

Review:
"Breaking the Ice" is strong episode that gives the series a break from alien conflicts and phaser fights. There is some decent character development that see’s the crew finally warming to T’Pol.
